aerobatic flight). With the position of the switch Aux CH 5 (Figure 1, Item 20) forward, set a negative value (e. g. -50 %) and with the switch position to the back, set another
positive value (e. g. -75 %). In this way, you can switch between two different gyro sensitivities in flight.
Possibility 3:
You use the built-in gyro in normal as well as in heading lock mode and with the mixer, you set two different gyro sensitivities for two different flight states (e. g. hover-
ing/tour flight or aerobatic flight). With the position of the switch Aux CH 5 (Figure 1, Item 20) forward, set a positive value (e. g. +50 %) and with the switch position to the
back, set a negative value (e. g. -75 %). As such, you can switch between two different gyro sensitivities in flight and at the same time, also between two different control
properties for the gyro.
After selecting this function, the adjacent display will appear.
With the +/- rocker (Figure 3, Item 4) you activate the function.
Press the Select button (Figure 3, Item 7) in order to access the entry mode.
With the +/- rocker (Figure 3, Item 4), set the desired value between +100 % and -100 %.
Swashplate Setting
The helicopter is equipped with a CCPM swashplate. With this type of swashplate, the commands for the pitch-axis, roll, and pitch servos are mixed. Within this function,
the influence of the 3 servos can be set separately.
The remote control can steer a swashplate, with which the pitch-axis function is only carried out by a servo (1-S).
The remote control can also steer a swashplate, which is controlled by three servos (3-S). For your helicopter, please select the setting 3-S. To
adjust the swashplate control, press the Select button until 1-S or 3-S appears on the display. By means of pushing the +/- rocker (Figure 3, Item
4) for approximately 2–3 seconds, you can carry out your changes.
Before the first flight, all servos must be set equally. Afterwards, you make minor corrections to them if necessary.
Press the Select button (Figure 3, Item 7) in order to select the servo to be set: A = Roll, E = Pitch-axis, P = Pitch. With the +/- rocker (Figure 3,
Item 4), set the desired value between +100 % and -100 %.
Fail Safe
Attention! Risk of damage to property and injury to persons!
When operating helicopters, we urgently recommend against programming any defined values for the fail safe and recommend using the "Hol Mode" instead.
In the event of radio interference, all functions/servos would otherwise go to the position that you programmed and as such, cause the helicopter to enter
into a dangerous flight situation under certain circumstances and this could result in a crash.
For every radio transmission, regardless whether radiophony, a mobile or during the model flight, it is possible that interference occurs. In the event of interference, the
signals issued by the remote control are not received or only in a falsified manner, which may result in undesired or certain reactions of the remote control receiver not
occurring. The fail safe function only works with the receiver installed in the helicopter and only with PCM modulation. You can choose a presetting for each channel (CH
1–6). The remote control used for your helicopter has the following functions available for such radio interference.
Possibility 1:
You use the fail safe function in the "Hold Mode" (recommended). In this mode, all functions are "frozen" in the receiver in the event of radio interfer-
ence. As soon as the radio connection has been successfully re-established, all functions react as usual. The hold mode is set if the arrow points
to "NOR" for all channels (CH 1–6).
