10.7 Replacing the fi xed bearing
on CKK 9-70, CKK 12-90,
CKK 15-110, CKK 20-145
If the Compact Module is
installed vertically or on a slant, take
precautions to prevent the carriage
from dropping!
Switch off the power supply!
F Special tool ! 10.3
• Remove the motor with coupling.! 7.4
• Remove the motor mount.
• Remove the motor with side drive
timing belt. ! 7.6
• Use a hot air blower to heat the ring
nut only until the Loctite 638 adhesive
becomes liquid and the ring nut can be
removed.
Removing the fi xed bearing end
block
• Remove the socket head cap screws.
• Remove the cover. ! 10.4
• Pull the fi xed bearing end block with
the ball screw drive (BS) a little way
out of the frame:
• Pull off the strip guides from the
guide rails.

Fit plastic jaws to the vise.
c
For long screws (1500 mm or
longer), hold or suspend the screw
at several points. Avoid any major
bending!
Risk of permanent deformation!
• Carefully draw the fi xed bearing end
block, together with the screw and
the carriage, out of the frame, holding
the screw both in front of and behind
the carriage. (For CKK 9-70 and
CKK 12-90 models, mounting arbors
must be inserted into the carriage.)
• Grip the screw in a vise.
• Unscrew the 2 set screws of the
slotted nut through the hole in the end
block.
• Remove the slotted nut.
• Pull the fi xed bearing end block with
the bearing off the screw, taking care
not to tilt the bearing.

A bearing may be worn or dam-
aged without this being detectable
from the outside. Do not re-use any
defective bearings!

Prévenir la chute du plateau
pour les montages verticaux ou
inclinés de modules compacts !
Couper l'alimentation électrique !
F Outillage spécial ! 10.3
• Démonter le moteur et l'accouple-
ment. ! 7.4
• Démonter la lanterne.
• Démonter le moteur avec renvoi par
poulies et courroie. ! 7.6
• Chauffer la bague fi letée avec de l'air
chaud jusqu'à ce que le Loctite 638
se soit liquiéfi é et qu'il soit possible de
desserrer la bague fi letée.
Démontage de l'entretoise de
palier fi xe
• Retirer les vis à tête cylindrique.
• Retirer le cache de protection. ! 10.4
• Retirer légèrement l'entretoise de pa-
lier fi xe avec la VAB du corps principal .
• Retirer les renvois des rails de gui-
dage.

Munir l'étau de mors de protec-
tion en plastique.

Pour les vis longues (à partir de
1 500 mm), les saisir en plusieurs en-
droits ou les supporter en plusieurs
points !
Eviter toute fl exion exagérée pouvant
provoquer une déformation perma-
nent !
• Retirer l'entretoise de palier fi xe avec
la vis et le plateau prudemment du
corps principal. Pour ce faire, saisir
la vis devant et derrière le plateau.
(L'auxiliaire de montage doit être
introduit dans le plateau pour les
CKK 9-70 et les CKK 12-90.)
• Serrer la vis dans l'étau.
• Desserrer les 2 vis sans tête de
l'écrou à encoches au travers de
l'orifi ce de l'entretoise.
• Dévisser l'écrou à encoches.
• Retirer l'entretoise avec son palier fi xe
de la vis. Ne pas gauchir le palier.

Il n'est pas toujours possible de
déceler l'usure ou l'endommagement
du palier de l'extérieur. Ne pas réutili-
ser les paliers défectueux !

Evitare la caduta della tavola con gli
accessori!
Staccare la corrente!

• Smontare il motore con il giunto. ! 7.4
• Smontare la fl angia.
• Smontare il motore con la trasmissione
a cinghia e puleggia. ! 7.6
• Riscaldare la ghiera fi lettata con insuf-
fl aggio di aria suffi cientemente calda
fi no a quando l'adesivo si rammollisce
affi nché si possa svitare la vite.
Smontare la testata del cuscinetto
di vincolo assiale
• Rimuovere le viti cilindriche.
• Smontare la copertura. ! 10.4
• Tirare leggermente dal profi lato di base
la testata del cuscinetto di vincolo
assiale con la vite a sfere.
• Estrarre i deviatori dalle guide su rotaia.

Mettere ganasce di plastica nella
morsa.
c
In caso di viti molto lunghe (a par-
tire da 1500 mm) reggere le viti in più
punti mediante appositi sostegni.
Evitare fl essioni!
Pericolo di deformazioni permanenti!
• Estrarre con cautela la testata del
cuscinetto di vincolo assiale con vite e
tavola dal profi lato di base. A tale sco-
po afferrare la vite davanti e dietro la
tavola. (Per il CKK 9-70 e CKK 12-90
bisogna inserire dispositivi di montag-
gio nella tavola.)
• Serrare la vite nella morsa.
• Allentare 2 grani fi lettati della ghiera
a tacche attraverso il foro che si trova
nella testata.
• Svitare la ghiera a tacche.
• Sfi lare la testata con cuscinetto di vin-
colo assiale dalla vite facendo atten-
zione a non inclinare il cuscinetto.

Dall'esterno non è accertabile se
un cuscinetto è usurato o danneggiato.
Non utilizzare più i cuscinetti difettosi!
