The system has
detected a problem
with one of the
accessories (e .g .
Shaver, Foot Pedal,
or Remote Control .
The cannula is
obstructed .
The shaver blade
is obstructed .
The Pinch Valve is
malfunctioning .
The power is off (set
to "O") or is on Stop .
possible solutions
Lower the joint pressure . Press the run/
stOp pad to restart the pump .
Verify that the intermediary luer-lock is tightly
closed . Press the run/stOp pad to restart
the pump
Replace the Inflow Tubing . If problem persists,
contact DePuy Synthes Customer Service .
Spike the bag and press the fill Chamber pad .
Refer to Section 9 .4, Fault Codes .
Reposition or clean the cannula .
Disassemble the blade and clean it .
Check the positioning of the suction tubing .
Check the FMS CONNECT interface cable
connection (if installed) .
Check that the main power switch on the front
of the pump is on the "i" position, and that the
run/stOp pad green light is on .
Check that the pump doors are closed .
