6.6.1 flOw+ feature

Press the FLOW+ Suction or SHAVER Suction pads to increase the preset suction levels . The
orange LEDs illuminate to indicate the suction setting (Figure 11) .
The FLOW+ feature increases flow without increasing joint pressure . The SHAVER suction pad
increases or decreases flow through the handpiece . One light indicates minimum suction, two
lights low suction, three lights medium suction, and four lights indicate maximum suction .
There are two FLOW+ modes:
• standard mode: Press the FLOW+ button on the Foot Pedal to start FLOW+ . Release the
button to stop FLOW+ . If using a Shaver Handpiece, Standard Mode is activated when the
handpiece is turned on and deactivated when the handpiece is turned off .
• One minute mode: Press the FLOW+ button on the Foot Pedal for less than one (1) second
to activate FLOW+ . Suction levels will increase for 1 minute . To cancel FLOW+, press the
FLOW+ button at any time during the 1 minute cycle .
