177. Remove the cover and tape. Enlarge the holes in the cover
using a 1/8-inch (3mm) drill bit. Harden the screw holes as
outlined earlier in this manual. The tail cone is attached using
four M2.5 x 10 sheet metal screws.
178. Use contact adhesive to glue the pilot in the cockpit. Allow the
adhesive to fully cure before proceeding.
 It may be necessary to trim the pilot's
legs to fit into the cockpit.
179. Use canopy glue or contact adhesive to glue the canopy to
the canopy hatch. Use tape to hold the canopy in position
until the adhesive fully cures.
 Do not use CA when gluing the canopy. When
CA cures, it releases gases that can fog the
canopy and detract from its appearance.
180. Use contact adhesive or medium CA to glue the radar cover
on the wing bolt cover.
 Be aware the scale location of this radar cover
leaves it vulnerable to damage during transport,
as the trailing edge is not bonded to anything.
181. Use contact adhesive or medium CA to glue the front turret on
the underside of the fuselage. Make sure it does not interfere
with the operation of the gear doors (if fi tted).
EN
182. Use contact adhesive or medium CA to glue the exhausts to
the side of each nacelle.
 Outlines on the nacelles help locate the
correct position for the exhausts.
183. Use contact adhesive or medium CA to glue the antenna
bases to the top of each nacelle.
 Drill a 1/16-inch (1.5mm) hole in the cover and top
of the fuselage and insert a piece of 1.5–2mm wire
or carbon rod (not included) into the mount and
fuselage to simulate the antenna. See the photos on
the box to determine the angle of the antenna.
184. The remaining covers that have been included are for
various versions of the OV-10 Bronco and can be mounted as
required or left off the model.
 The following items are not structural and must be removed
during transport. They will not bear the weight of the model
and damage will result. We highly recommend installing
these items once the model has been assembled for flight.
185. Thread the guns into the blind nuts in the gun pods.
186. Use a hobby knife and #11 blade to remove the covering for
the mounting holes and pins for the gun pods.
