163. Mount the retract module, battery and switch in the fuselage.
 A switch must be used between the battery and retract
module. When the radio system is turned on, the retracts
must remain off so they do not cycle. Once the radio system
is on and connected, the retracts can then be powered on.
164. Secure the receiver batteries inside the fuselage. Secure
them using hook and loop tape (not included) and hook and
loop straps (not included).

165. Mount the two speed controllers in the fuselage. Keep the
controllers as close to the batteries as possible.

166. Mount the four motor batteries in the fuselage using hook
and loop tape (not included) and hook and loop straps (not
included). The batteries can be positioned to help adjust the
center of gravity.
167. Make all the connections for the receiver and retracts. Route
the leads neatly and label each one so they can be easily
identifi ed when assembling your model.

Gas Engine Installation Option
The radio components can also be mounted to the underside of the
wing center section when using gas engines. This keeps the overall
amount of connections at the fi eld lower for a quicker assembly.
