Adjust guide pins:
1. Release screws (22).
2. Press guide pins (23) against the saw band.
3. Open upper door and turn band saw roll several times
manually clockwise that the guide pins set in the correct po-
sition
both guide pins must abut slightly on the saw band.
4. Refasten screws (22).
5.
Close upper case door.
Adjust support roller:
1. Release screw (25).
2. Adjust support roller
Distance between support roller and saw band app.
0.5 mm
Is the saw band moved manually it shall not touch
the support roller
3. Refasten screw.
Adjusting lower band guidance
The lower band guidance consists of:
two guide pins (these guide the saw band laterally)
a support roller (this supports the saw band from behind)
Readjust the guide pins and support roller after each
saw band exchange and each saw band adjustment.
Guide pins and support roller are wearing parts. Check
these regularly and replace the pins and roller in case of
wear at the same time.
Adjust guide pins:
1. Open lower case door.
2. Push aside lower saw band coping (21).
3. Release screws (22).
4. Press guide pins (23) against the saw band.
5. Open upper door and turn band saw roll several times
manually clockwise that the guide pins set in the correct po-
sition
both guide pins must abut slightly on the saw band.
6. Refasten screws.
7. Put back the lower saw band coping back before the saw
band.
The lower saw band coping protects against acciden-
tal touching of the saw band.
8.
Close both case doors.
Adjust support roller:
1. Screw off saw table plate.
2. Open lower case door.
3. Push aside the lower saw band coping (21).
4. Release hexagon head screw (26).
5. Adjust support roller
Distance between support roller and saw band app.
