the product can cause the voltage to fluctuate tem-
porarily.
• The product is intended solely for use at connec-
tion points that
a) do not exceed a maximum permitted supply im-
pedance "Z", or
b) have a continuous current-carrying capacity of the
mains of at least 100 A per phase.
• As the user, you are required to ensure, in consulta-
tion with your electric power company if necessary,
that the connection point at which you wish to oper-
ate the product meets one of the two requirements,
a) or b), named above.
Finding the causes of any troubles turned up and their
remedy always demands extra attention and caution.
Before starting trouble-shooting, always pull the power
supply plug.
In the following, some of the most frequent defects and
their causes are listed. In case of any further defects,
please call your dealer.
Problem
Machine cannot be switched on.

Possible Cause
No power supply.

Overload protection reacts due to
blunt knives, infeed too fast, or chip

Remedy
Check power supply.
Take machine to your service point.
Check fuses.
Due to the integrated low-voltage
protection, the machine does not
re-start automatically. Upon return
of the voltage, the machine must be
switched on again.
Before work is continued, replace
knives or let cool down the motor.
Before continuing work, replace the
knives or wait for the motor to cool
down.
Reduce infeed speed.
Replace knives.
Apply constand pressure and reduce
feed.
Reduce chip removal.
