Slide the cowling into position, with the card stock on
the outside of the cowling. Fit the spinner backplate (and
adapters if necessary) on the engine shaft. Install the
propeller, washer, and propeller nut. Position the cowling
so there is a 3/32-inch (2mm) gap between the spinner
backplate and front of the cowling. Use low-tack tape to hold
in the cowling to drill the mountings holes.

Use a pin vise and 5/64-inch (2mm) drill bit to drill the
mounting holes in the cowling. Do not drill into the blind
nuts, as this may damage the threads.
Bohren Sie mit einem 2 Handbohrer die Löcher in die
Motorhaube. Bohren Sie dabei nicht in die Blindmuttern, da
sie sonst dabei beschädigt werden können.
Utiliser un porte-foret et un foret de 1,5 mm pour percer les
trous de fi xation du capot. Ne percez pas dans les écrous
prisonniers, les fi letages seraient endommagés.
Con una punta da 2mm praticare nella capottina i fori per il
suo fi ssaggio. Non forare nei dadi ciechi perché si potrebbe
danneggiare il fi letto.

Remove the cowling from the fuselage. Use a pin vise and
1/8-inch drill bit to enlarge the holes in the cowling for the
mounting screws.
Nehmen Sie die Motorhaube vom Rumpf ab. Vergrößern Sie

Attach the muffl er to the engine following the instructions
provided with your particular engine.

Cut a section of the cowling to allow the muffl er stacks to
exit. Our opening is 3 1 / inches (83mm) wide and 2 inches

(52mm) forward from the rear edge of the cowling.
