1 General
1.1 Symbols in this Manual
Symbols and signal words are used in this manual and
apply to hazards or unsafe practices which could result in
personal injury or property damage. See the information
below for definitions of the signal words.
DANGER
Indicates a hazardous situation that will result
in serious injury or death if it is not avoided.
WARNING
Indicates a hazardous situation that could
result in serious injury or death if it is not
avoided.
CAUTION
Indicates a hazardous situation that could
result in minor or slight injury if it is not
avoided.
NOTICE
Indicates a hazardous situation that could
result in damage to property if it is not
avoided.
Gives useful tips, recommendations and
information for efficient, trouble-free use.
Identifies required tools, components and
items which are needed to carry out certain
work.
Other Symbols
(Not applicable for all manuals)
UK Responsible Person
Indicates if a product is not manufactured in
the UK.
Triman
Indicates recycling and sorting rules (only
relevant for France).

1.2 General Safety
WARNING!
Safety rules before installation
– All installations must comply with the national
rules and standards.
– Use only approved installation components.
– At every point of suspension, the roof/ceiling
structure must be able to withstand a static
load of at least 300 kg.
– Before mounting a rail system, the roof,
walls, and floor must be examined carefully.
Determine the exact materials involved in the
roof and walls. This examination must only
be carried out by a suitably qualified person.
– The rail system must be mounted only by
suitably qualified persons.
Stress Test
In accordance with the European standard EN 10535, the
system shall be stress tested with 300 kg. This should be
done at each fixing point. This test is to be carried out
as a testing of the substratum's ability to keep the rail
system in place. This test shall be carried out by a suitably
qualified person.
1.3 Warranty Information
Terms and conditions of the warranty are part of the
general terms and conditions particular to the individual
countries in which this product is sold.
