4. Locate the hoist trolley at the Ø 32 mm round recess
in the rail.
5. Lift the hoist and push the suspension pin through
the trolley opening.
6. Turn the hoist by 90 degrees to fix it in the trolley.
7. Connect the hand control.
8. Adjust the length of the emergency stop/lowering cord
to within the user's reach.
If there is excessive resistance, or if the trolley
unintentionally rolls by itself due to imbalance in
the rail suspensions, adjust the friction brake using
a 4 mm Allen key.
3.11.2 Installing Robin® Mover
The trolley is built-in on the hoist, and can therefore not
be pre installed in the rail.
Tools: 4 mm Allen key; 17 mm socket wrench
1. Remove the end stop.

2. Insert the wheels of the hoist into the rail.
The direction the hoist faces does not matter
during installation.
3. Install the end stop.
Tighten the bolt to 30 Nm.
4. If too much resistance is experienced when the
hoist is pulled, or the hoist moves too freely and
unintentionally, adjust the friction brake.
5. Connect the hand control.
6. Adjust the length of the emergency stop/lowering cord
to within the user's reach.
3.12 Inspection / check of the rail
system
CAUTION!
After the installation of a rail system, the
entire system must be inspected. A periodic
inspection of the product must be performed at
least every 12 months unless otherwise stated
in local requirements.
– Inspections MUST be performed only by a
qualified person.
– The installation inspection must be performed
following the Installation Checklist, available
on the Invacare website.
– The periodic inspection must be performed
following the Periodic Inspection Checklist,
available on the Invacare website.
– Ensure the selected checklist corresponds to
the ceiling hoist model in use.
