The vehicle moves in the opposite direction to the steering wheel on the remote control.
• Enable the steering reverse function on the remote control.
The vehicle responds in the opposite way to the throttle/brake lever on the remote control.
• Usually, the vehicle should move forwards when the throttle/brake lever on the remote control is pulled towards the
handle. Activate the throttle reverse function on the remote control.
The vehicle does not steer properly or the steering angle is too low.
• If the vehicle is on the ground, the servo will only work correctly when the vehicle is moving. To test the steering
function, place the vehicle on a suitable car stand so that all wheels can move freely.
• If the transmitter has a dual rate setting, check that it is working correctly (refer to the remote control operating
instructions for details). If the dual rate setting is too low, the steering angle will be too low, or the steering servo will
not respond to steering commands.
The same applies for the EPA setting (= "End-Point-Adjustment", configures the end positions for the servo path to
protect the servo mechanics), if this setting is available on your remote control.
• Check the steering mechanism for loose parts (e.g. check whether the servo arm is attached correctly to the servo.
Even with a servo saver, the servo arm may become dislodged in the event of a heavy impact.
• The servo mechanism is dirty or corroded. Clean and lubricate the steering mechanism.
• The servo saver setting is too weak.
Weak brake function
• On the remote control, configure the neutral position for the throttle/brake function. If the trim is insufficient, check
the position of the servo arm on the throttle/brake servo and the screw connection.
• Check the linkage between the throttle/brake servo and carburettor/brake.
• Check the condition of the brake linings or replace the brake pads.
