VEHICLE CONFIGURATION
MAXIMUM ACTUATOR POSITION (Fig. 30)
With this function it is possible to limit the opening of the stepper
motor actuator.
The value on the display indicates the maximum number of opening
steps the stepper motor is allowed to reach.
NOTE: change this value only when necessary.
The basic configuration is adequate for the majority of cases.
MINIMUM ACTUATOR POSITION (Fig. 31)
With this function it is possible to limit the closing of the stepper
motor actuator.
The value on the display indicates the minimum number of opening
steps the stepper motor is allowed to reach.
NOTE: change this value only when necessary.
The basic configuration is adequate for the majority of cases.
FULL THROTTLE OPTION (Fig. 32)
By enabling this function, it is possible to set a position that the
stepper motor must reach during full throttle operation. This is useful
for those engines for which the normal carburetion in this condition
can either be too rich or too lean.
NOTE: this function is normally disengaged, since the basic
fuel management strategy of the GALILEO is able to ensure a
correct operation in the majority of cases.
When the full throttle option is enabled, the following parameters
must be specified:
ACTUATOR POSITION DURING FULL THROTTLE

This is the position that the stepper motor must reach during full
throttle.
To correctly establish the value to be entered, the performance of a
road test is recommended with the tester connected to the GALILEO.
Establish at what position the stepper motor must be in order to
achieve a stoichiometric condition. The stoichiometric condition is
indicated when the display bar of the Oxygen Sensor flashes
alternately on RICH and LEAN.
After this value has been entered, repeat the road test and increase/
decrease the value if necessary.
FULL THROTTLE TPS (Fig. 34)
This value establishes the T.P.S. threshold that engages the FULL
THROTTLE OPTION, that is, the T.P.S. voltage beyond which the
GALILEO brings the stepper motor to the predetermined full throttle
position.
