The inlet of hot air into the cabinet is unavoidable; if due to high humidity a thin layer of
frost forms, then keep the doors closed for 2 hours.
18. Defrosting and water drainage (Fig. 25)
La Colonia 3 and Mini Colonia lines are provided with electric defrost function.
18.1. Draining the water
install a floor drain with a slight slope to avoid:
odours inside the cabinet
the dispersion of refrigerated air
malfunction of the cabinet due to humidity

periodically check that hydraulic connections are perfectly efficient, contacting a
qualified installer.
19. Demisting and anti-condensation
Formations of misting and condensation are eliminated by the heaters in the cabinet.
20. Lighting (Fig. 20)
The cabinet is provided with fluorescent bulbs.
The light switch is next to the thermometer (Fig. 13).
20.1. Replacing the bulbs

DO NOT obstruct/impede the flow of cooled air
NEVER exceed the loading line (Fig. 17)
DO NOT use heated goods
IN NO WAY obstruct the inlet of cooled air with:
goods, price tags, price holders, decorations etc.
DO NOT use the sliding doors as a resting shelf, the closure are not
designed to support loads (Fig. 18) .
install the siphon supplied between the drain pipe of the cabinet and
the connection to ground.
hermetically seal the area of drainage to ground.

remove electric power supply to the cabinet.

remove the lamp cover
3
rotate the lamp by approximately 90° until it clicks
remove the bulb

Replace the bulb with a new identical model

reposition the bulb and rotate it 90° until it clicks

restore the electrical power supply.
