Notes on cooling mode:
Openings and gaps that are still present in and on the insulation after completion of the assembly/
installation must be sealed professionally so that no further ambient air can reach colder
components (condensation reduction).
All pipes where the cooling water temperature can drop below the dew point must be insulated to
be vapour diffusion-tight. In addition, the separate documentation of the refrigeration/heating unit
manufacturers must also be observed.
3.1.5 Temperature sensor on FL ball valve
Installation steps for sensor mounting (for indirectly immersed):

Isolate and depressurise the system

Remove M10x1 stopper (5) and O-ring (4a)

Caution: When filled, water leaks out at this point!

Fit the FL sensor holder (6), e.g. from the controller, with a new O-ring (4b) accordingly
Note: Items (6) and (4b) are not included in the scope of delivery
Note: Probes with a diameter of 5...6 mm can be used.

3.1.6 Electrical connection

I.) Connect the recirculation pump to the power supply. This should only be operated on demand,
with it usually being controlled via the boiler control unit. Some controllers enable the speed
regulation of the selected pump to be externally controlled.
II.) Electr. connection of a servomotor (for MC version): see respective separate instructions
III.) Optional temperature monitor as maximum temperature limiter for underfloor heating
(for switching off the pumps or controlling a mixer motor)
The dew point can be monitored via a humidity add-on switch (φ) (see e.g. corresponding
documentation of a heat pump controller). If the flow line temperature in the secondary circuit
falls below the setpoint value, cooling is switched off.
