2.7 Minimum acceptable power calculation

In order to determine which model of IMEON inverter you will need, it is necessary to do the inventory
of all equipments used. Some devices will require at startup a higher power than the operating power.
Calculation of the minimum acceptable power (PMA):
PMA= Equipment minimal power × coefficient PMA
See below some example of equipments showing difference between the operation power and the
minimum acceptable power for the inverter.
Equipment
Electric oven
Television
Portable
grinder
Circular saw
Freezer
Single phase
compressor
Washing
machine
To identify the exact power of your equipment, please consult the manufacturer datasheets on the
device manual. To calculate the minimal power requested, we have considered that all devices are
single-phase.
Check the voltage of the devices to apply the correct calculation.
The Smart Meter device receives the electricity consumption information from the building
communicated by the associated meter. This information as well as the IMEON internal algorithms will
optimize the use of different energy sources in order to increase the efficiency of the system.
