Technology:
Allows choosing the technology of the battery connected to IMEON: Lead Acid (GEL, AGM, OPz) or
the model of Lithium battery.
Discharge only at night:
By choosing « Yes », the batteries will be discharged only when the solar installation is not producing
energy.
SOC display (State of Charge):
IMEON allows to define two depths of discharge of the batteries according to the state of the public
grid. The SOC without grid is necessarily less or equal than that of the grid. The SOC has an important
impact on the batteries life.
- Low SOC = Reduced product life cycles but increased amount of energy.
- High SOC = Optimized battery life time, reduced amount of energy.
Note (for lead batteries only): In order to secure the DC BUS stability in case of a high grid voltage,
the cut-off voltage of the end of discharge may be not reached. See below values of cut-off battery
voltage according to the grid voltage:

Parameters for Lithium batteries:
Battery state:
-
ON activated: the inverter allows the use of the battery
-
OFF deactivated: the inverter prohibits the use of the battery
Battery status (lithium battery only):
-
Starting battery manager: starting the program (after selecting the model)
-
Detecting battery in progress
-
Battery detected. Configuring Imeon
-
