To keep your appliance working efficiently for a long time,

it is important to clean and maintain it carefully.
12.1 Cleaning the oven cavity
Carry out the following steps after every use. The steam
oven cavity can rust if not properly cared for.
CAUTION
Exercise caution when opening the appliance. Standing to
the side, open the door slowly and only slightly to let hot
air and/or steam escape.
Keep your face clear of the opening and make sure
there are no children or pets near the unit.
After the hot air and/or steam is released, proceed with
your cooking.
Keep the appliance door shut unless necessary for
cooking or cleaning purposes.
Do not leave the open appliance door unattended.
The water in the evaporator dish is hot.
Let the evaporator dish cool down before you clean the
appliance.
Leave the oven door open in the "at-rest" position, until

the oven cavity has cooled down.
Empty and dry the water tank.

Remove any water remaining in the evaporator dish

¡ Burned on residue is very difficult to remove at a later

¡ Salts are very abrasive and can cause rust spots.
Wipe down the oven cavity with the cleaning sponge.

12.2 Removing the water tank during or after
operation
EMPTY THE WATER TANK AFTER EACH USE.
CAUTION

After the hot air and/or steam is released, proceed with
your cooking.

Carefully open the appliance door.

Avoid these cleaners
Do not use commercial oven cleaners such as Easy Off®
They may damage the oven finish or parts. Chlorine or
chlorine compounds in some cleansers are corrosive to
stainless steel. Check ingredients on label. Never use
scouring pads or abrasive cleaners.
WARNING
To avoid risk of electrical shock, DO NOT use a steam
cleaner or high pressure cleaners to clean the appliance.
Penetrating moisture may cause electrical shock.
