4.5 Oven cavity
Here you can find information about the features of the

oven cavity.

CAUTION
Do not place anything on the oven cavity bottom. Do not
cover it with aluminum foil. A build-up of heat could dam-
age the appliance or cause injury.
Cooling fan
The cooling fan runs during all cooking modes.
After you have turned off the oven, the cooling fan stays
on for 10 minutes after a steam mode; after a heating
mode without steam it will run on until the temperature
falls below 230°F (110°C).

Operates as a convection oven, with no steam.

Oven vent
Warm air may be released from the oven vent before, dur-
ing and after cooking. It is normal to see steam escaping
from the vent, and condensation may collect in this area.
This area may be warm when the oven is in use.
CAUTION
The oven vents are important for air circulation. Covering
the oven vents will cause the oven to overheat. Refer to
the appliance overview for the location of the oven vents.
