Safety
2.1
Notes on Safety
The equipment must be erected as far away as possible from safety hazards and sources of
danger.
Before carrying out any repairs, disconnect the Connexx system from the power supply.
Wear appropriate protective clothing when servicing and repairing the system and follow all
applicable safety regulations covering the handling of chemicals.
Make sure that all materials and parts of the equipment (packing material, etc.) are disposed
of in accordance with applicable local and international environment protection regulations
and laws.

Emphases
The emphases CAUTION, ATTENTION, IMPORTANT and NOTE have the following
meanings in this manual.

2.3
Special safety notes for maintenance and repair work
Wear protective clothing (safety glasses, protective gloves and protective aprons) before
starting any repairs or maintenance. When working on parts coming into contact with
chemicals (e.g. holding tanks, diaphragm valves, etc.) rinse them with water first.
Electronics repairs must only be performed by trained electricians, following the safety

When opening covers or removing parts, components carrying live voltages may be
exposed.
Connection points may also be under live voltages.
IMPORTANT
Only original spare parts must be used for repairs.
