Kussmaul Chief Auto Charge Battery Charger Owner's Guide
Solution
Disconnect AC to the charger and
check the battery voltage
approximately one hour later.
NOTE: If the charger is functioning
properly but the charge cycles fail
to bring the resting voltage up
above
10 V for 12-volt chargers, then this
confirms the battery has a
damaged or shorted cell.
Replace battery.
The battery has reached the end
of its useful life and can no longer
accept a charge.
