Purpose
The purpose of this Owner's Guide is to provide explanations and
procedures for installing, operating, configuring, maintaining, and
troubleshooting a Kussmaul Chief Auto Charge Battery Charger
for Emergency vehicle applications.
Scope
The guide provides safety and operating guidelines as well as
information on installing and configuring the battery charger. It
also provides information about troubleshooting the unit. It does
not provide details about particular brands of batteries. You need
to consult individual battery manufacturers for this information.
Audience
The guide is intended for users and operators of the Kussmaul
Chief Auto Charge Battery Charger.The Installation section
starting on page 12 is intended for qualified personnel.
