The following page is displayed by the LCD display.
•
Select the function ( 130 ) to set the kind of lambda probe used to carry
out the test (1 V or 5 V); usually it is set to 1 V.
•
Select the START ANALYSIS ( 129 ) function the graph is displayed
which relates to the signal in Volts being created by the lambda probe
according to the concentration of the Oxygen being present inside the
exhaust pipes.
•
Select the function ( 131 ) to enable the cursor status through the page
up and down keys; cursors flash from white to red and the selected icon
turn to red from white.
•
Press the key ( 131 ) again to confirm the cursor shift. The shifted and
confirmed cursors get red to indicate the shift from the original position
(cyan colour).
NOTA BENE:
This type of function is useful to carry out the analysis of special lambda
probes with mass reference exceeding or equal to the minimum limit: in this
case limits have to be translated in parallel as indicated above. The
procedure allows to center limits with regard to minimum and maximum
values and hence a correct signal test.
