Lambda factor
The Lambda factor λ indicates the stoichiometric ratio, that is the
air/gasoline ration in the combustion chamber.
When this value is close to 1 it means that combustion is perfect inside the
chamber.
The Lambda coefficients are calculated by means of a mathematical
formula according to the selected fuels.
The Lambda coefficient calculating formula is the following one:
