Use of adaptor plugs, extensions, or additional charging
cables in connection with the device can result in electric
shock or cable fire.
f Use only the charging cable intended for the vehicle
and the device.
f Do not use adaptor plugs, extensions, or additional
charging cables to charge the vehicle.

9 The authorisation process is complete.
f Ensure that the vehicle and the charging cable are sui-
table for Mode 3 charging.
f Unroll the charging cable completely.
f Connect the charging cable to the vehicle.

f Flip up the hinged lid.
f Completely plug the charging plug into the charging
socket on the device.
For the variant, charging socket with shutter:
f Insert the plug into the charging socket on the device.
The contour of the grey ring indicates the orientation
of the plug.
f Turn charging plug 60° counterclockwise to open the
shutter.
f After opening the shutter, insert the charging plug
completely into the charging socket.

Damage to the charging cable
Tensile stress of the charging cable may cause cable
breaks and other damage.
f Only pull the charging cable directly from the socket

the RFID card in front of the RFID card reader.
f Pull the charging cable out of the charging socket on
the plug.
f Fit the protective cap onto the charging cable.
f Hang or store the charging cable kink-free.
