6. SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION

6.2 CONFIGURATION PROCESS

This process has to be made by a superuser (user with installation rights).
The superuser code is assigned to each Samoa distributor individually
You have to press the padlock at the upper right part of the screen and
insert the Superuser credentials.
Once you enter, you will see the configuration option in the upper right part.
As well, in the lower part, you can see two menus: DATE and PRINTER
If you click on DATE, you will find menu to change date and time in the
system. Please remember to press SAVE once you have set date and time.
In order to make the configuration you have to follow the steps 1 to 6
shown in the upper part.

6.2.1 PRODUCTS

In this screen you have to define the products of the installation.
Press the icon (upper right part) and a popup window appears.

Press that option and you will see a home page with a brief summary of
the installation (if it is not new). It is under the Option "General". You will
see the number of products, the number of tanks, the number of devices
and the number of groups.
If you click on PRINTER, you will find a menu to set the IP address in which
you will be able to connect an external printer in the customer network.
You have to click ENABLE, set the IP Address and then press SAVE.
• Part Number: Part number of the product and has to be the same
as the one defined in the customer DMS (Parameter is compulsory)
• Name: Name of the product and has to be the same as the one
defined in the customer DMS (Parameter is not compulsory).
• Provider: Provider of the product (Parameter is not compulsory).
• Density: This is the density parameter and has to be inserted in kg/
cm . This parameter is compulsory if the installation has a UTank.

• Viscosity: This is the viscosity parameter and has to be inserted in cPs
• Unit: In this screen you have to define the unit you want to work.
There are two options. Litres and Gallons.
Once you have finished, press SAVE to save the changes.
At the end of the line you can see a column with "Status". If it is active
(green) it means that the product is active and it is part of the installation.
If the customer stops using that product, you have to create a new one
and deactivate the previous one (click in the button and it will be red). The
product that is not used any more will not be removed from the system.
If you want to change any parameters of any product preciously created,
please tick the line and press (in the right part of the screen) to make the changes.
