7. DIAGNOSTICS

problem description
the air conditioner does not
switch on
the air conditioner with the
display on but not starting
the fridge unit does not reach
the set temperature
water leak under the air
conditioner

possible causes
no electricity supply
the set temperature has been
reached
with the first ignition, after
power failure, at each
compressor restart
low-performance room with
heat loss;
insufficient refrigerator fluid
Filters, batteries, external intake
/ exhaust grilles are dirty
Water stagnation in the tank
due to obstruction of the
discharge pipe, presence of
anomalous slopes and / or
siphon along the line
Probe measures temperature
and humidity
Cable disconnected
Turbine turns but the fog of
water does not come out
P1 – gusta thermostat probe
P3 – faulty humidity probe
P2 – faulty defrost probe

solution
check: plug, socket, fuses,
power line
wait for the temperature to rise
or set a new temperature
wait 12 minutes
intervene by isolating the
surfaces of the room intended
as walls, ceiling and floor with
appropriate material, eliminate
any windows, insulate the door;
contact the installer / seller
clean as instructed
wash the condensate collection
tray;
position the tube vertically
Move the probes to another
place in the room and in any
case they are "hit" by the fan air
flow
Check electrical outlet
Disconnect the hose and check
for water
Replace 3 m cable complete
with measuring probes –
contact installer / seller
Replace the probe in the middle
of the evaporator fins
