5.9 Replacing the gas spring — release mechanism — Bowden cable for backrest
tilting (Ocean Dual VIP / Ocean Dual VIP Ergo)
Wrench (6, 8) / Allen key (4 mm) / Snap ring pliers
1. Loosen the nut B on the distributor C completely and
turn it all the way up. Turn the upper piece into the
distributor.
2. Loosen the nut D on the release mechanism E and
turn it all the way up. Unscrew threaded piece F from
the release mechanism.
Pull the Bowden cable A slightly upwards to
make it easier.
3. Unhook the Bowden wire head G.
