-remove the brake with the sup-
porting bracket (figure n° 56)
-remove the brake from the bracket
(figure n° 57)
-fit the new brake
-re-fit the bracket with the new brake, ensuring that its ring nut
couples with the one fitted on the motor shaft (figure n° 58)

-before fastening the bracket screws, check that the brake ring nut is centred; if not, power
the brake keeping the bowl rotation pressed (figure n° 59)
-fasten the screws
SAFETY BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
ON MODELS: NSE 60-NSE 80-NSE 100-NSE 130-NSE 160-NSE 200 –
SPIRAL 80-SPIRAL 110-SPIRAL 150-SPIRAL 200-SPIRAL 300
If the machine does not brake within the maximum time of 4 seconds, the safety brake must
be adjusted following the instructions below.
-
Open the head cover via the screws at the side of the machine (figure no. 60).

Slide the cable connecting the control panel to the electrical components box out of the
brackets inside the head cover (figure no. 61).

Rest the cover on the ground.

Unscrew the nut (ref. 1 figure no. 62) by means of the spanner (ref. 2 figure no. 62) so
that it is possible to adjust the gap (ref. 3 figure no. 62) via the screwdriver (ref. 4 figure
no. 62).
Measure the thickness of the gap with a feeler gauge (figure no. 63), ensuring that the gap is
0.2 mm. This operation must be repeated for all three holes (ref. 5 figure no. 62) so that the
gap is 0.2 and uniform throughout the circumference.
