Spiral mixer with fixed bowl
REPLACING THE SAFETY BRAKE:
ON MODELS NSE 60-NSE 80-NSE 100-NSE 130-NSE 160-NSE 200 –
SPIRAL 80-SPIRAL 110-SPIRAL 150-SPIRAL 200-SPIRAL 300
Before replacing the brake check that:
1)The brake is not blocking the spiral when it is moving (if so, there will be a strong smell of
burning). First check that the card is powering the brake (voltage not below 17V).
If the card is powering the brake but the brake is not released, replace the brake.
2) There are no loud noises coming from the brake; check that the plastic braking ring nut is
not broken. If it is broken, replace the brake.
To replace the brake, follow the sequence below:
-remove the head cover via the respective screws (figure n° 52)
-slide the cable connecting the control panel to the power
panel out of the brackets (figure n° photo 53)
