Detailed instructions, information and illustrations concerning said protections and devices are
provided below to enable the machine user to work under the safest possible conditions. Due
to its importance, this topic is also discussed in the specific points below concerning USE,
MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, etc.
PREVENTIVE MEASURES AGAINST MECHANICAL HAZARDS
Machine stability
The mixer is provided at the back with two
fixed wheels and at the front with a castor and
two adjustable feet (see figure n° 5).
When the two adjustable feet are correctly po-
sitioned using the spanners provided and the
check nut is tightened, the machine becomes
automatically stable and does not require an-
choring to the floor.

Tool (spiral arm) operating area - ref. figure n° 6 -
Protection of the area inside the bowl consists basically of the stainless steel grille or thermo-
formed ABS cover positioned above the bowl. The position of the protection is controlled by a
safety microswitch. When the protection is opened, the microswitch interrupts the power sup-
ply to the motor. The tool stops in less than 4 seconds (ref. EN 453). To restore the work cy-
cle, lower the protection and press the start button on the control panel.
The protection has a small aperture which, due to its shape, dimensions and position, permits
introduction of the ingredients and withdrawal of samples of the mixture in complete safety
(see fig. n° 6).
