3.1.3 Periodic interventions
The periodical maintenance must be carried out by specialized operators.
After the first 20 hours of operation and afterwards every 100 hours or 6 months
All the points referred to in paragraph 3.1.2.
Check the seal of all the connections and check the tightening torque of all fasteners in the whole system.
Check the absence of mechanical backlash or the inaccuracy of the steering wheel during the steering.
Check all electrical connections for any rubs and cuts.
After the first 200 hours of operation or every 12 months
Check the grip of all fittings and fasteners throughout the system.
Perform all scheduled checks after 100 hours or 6 months.
Check possible damages or deterioration on the hydraulic hoses.
Check possible damages or deterioration on the electrical cables of the system.
Check of the correct insertion and/or tightening of all connectors located on the system.
When checking the electric cables, make sure that the interconnections have not been damaged while han-
dling them. Check that the ground connections have no surface oxidation. In that case, we recommend using
sprays or common products to protect and preserve the electric contacts
Check of the components fastening the system.
Check the absence of corrosion or damage on the system components.
Check Silent Block integrity.
Check the contamination status of the hydraulic oil in the system. Replace it if necessary.
