2.2.2 Electronic anchor functioning
WARNING
The electronic anchor is an automatic system that allows autonomous movement of the boat. Use of this system
does not relieve the captain's responsibility to remain at the command post and take action when needed. The
presence of swimmers or other boats, or the possible disengagement of the electronic anchor, will require the
captain to assume manual control of the boat.
WARNING
Before activating the electronic anchor, check that there are no people in the water and do not allow people on
the boat to enter the water.
DANGER
With any electronic anchor function active, the propellers will automatically activate causing the boat to move, so
it is forbidden to enter the water under this condition.
DANGER
Make sure you have applied the safety stickers, supplied with the joystick, near the boat's access points (refer to
the joystick installation manual).
Entering the electronic anchor functions

To enter the functions of the electronic anchor, follow the steps below:
1. Take control of the boat via the joystick by pressing the station enabling
speed is less than 3 knots.
2. Press the HEADING button or the ANCHOR button if you want to proceed to activate the relevant function, or
press the two buttons together to activate the MAINSTAY function. The MAINSTAY function can also be acti-
vated by pressing the two keys in succession, or by pressing the key for one function (e.g. HEADING) when
the other function (e.g. ANCHOR) is already activated. To switch from MAINSTAY to one of the other functions,
press the key related to the function to be deactivated.
3. The first time any electronic anchor function is activated, a warning message (6) will appear on the display,
notifying the user that the electronic anchor function is dangerous.
4. To activate the selected electronic anchor function, read, understand and accept the WARNING (6) by pressing
the ENTER button (3) on the display. To cancel the activation of the electronic anchor function, press the MENU
button (4) on the display.
WARNING
The operator should never leave the command post when any of the anchor functions is engaged.
NOTICE
If any of the electronic anchor functions were already active and the intention was to switch to another function,
the WARNING (6) on the display will not be shown.
DANGER
When WARNING (6) appears on the display, the selected electronic anchor function will not be active until the
