2.5 Emergency situations
In the event of failure of the electro-hydraulic system, which compromises
the steering system by limiting or blocking its operation, the LIMP Home
Mode screen appears after viewing the error code (refer to par. 2.4 for
the list) by pressing the "ENTER" key.
By pressing the "ENTER" key the user accepts to continue in LIMP HOME
mode, the steering system is disabled and the procedure to be followed
is shown. By pressing "BACK", instead, the user refuses the mode.
Depending on the type of failure, the type of steering and the number of engines on the boat, the system auto-
matically enables the emergency procedure. Follow the procedure as indicated on the screen:

If it is present, act directly on the LTB6 remote bypass valve instead of the one on the control unit.
WARNING
Do not force the limit switch during opening. Only for the UIPC power unit, it is possible to unlock the valve using
a 5 mm Allen wrench. The complete opening must be carried out manually.
The LIMP HOME condition appears at the bottom of the main screen and
remains active until the system is fully restarted.
If the display is not functioning, the emergency operation must be per-
formed in manual mode, as indicated in the following paragraphs.
