Control Cable Connection
THROTTLE CONTROL CABLE
1) Move the control lever to the "F" (Forward) and
full open position and secure it with the throttle
friction adjuster.
2) Pull the throttle control cable lightly and bring the
cable free play to the longer side.

3) Move the throttle arm so it contacts lightly with
the full open side stopper, and hold it in the
position.
Turn the shift pivot at the throttle control cable in
or out and adjust its position so that it can be set
on the throttle arm smoothly. After adjustment,
tighten the lock nut securely.

4) Connect the throttle control cable to the throttle
arm and secure it with the 6 mm washers and
6 mm lock pin.
• Set the washers on both sides of each arm as
shown.

5) After connecting the throttle control cable, make
sure that the control lever moves smoothly and
the throttle link moves smoothly from the full
closed position to the full open position.
Adjust the throttle control cable (see page 40), if
necessary
