7) Install the neutral lock block on the control
housing B and tighten the two 6 x 16 mm self-
tapping screws.
Torque: 2.5 N·m (0.25 kgf·m, 1.8 lbf·ft)

8) Install the control lever to the remote control box.
• Install the control lever by setting it in the "N"
(Neutral) position.

9) Connect the power trim/tilt switch wire harness
connectors.
10) Route the power trim/tilt switch wire harness as
shown. Install the power tilt cord clamp and
tighten the two 5 x 8 mm self-tapping screws.
Torque: 0.69 N·m (0.07 kgf·m, 0.5 lbf·ft)

11) Tighten the housing cover C with the two

12) Install the remote control lever and tighten with

Torque: 2.5 N·m (0.25 kgf·m, 1.8 lbf·ft)
• Set the grommet A by aligning it with the cutout
in the control housing B and housing cover C.
• Do not overtighten the screws.
