CONTROL LEVER DIRECTION CHANGE

• This remote control box (side-mount type) can be
mounted on the starboard or port side by reversing
the installation direction of the control lever.
1) Remove the two screws and the housing cover
C.

2) Remove the two screws and the power tilt cord
clamp.
3) Disconnect the power trim/tilt switch wire harness
connector (equipped type only).

Before repositioning control lever.
4) Remove the 8 x 35 mm flange bolt using a
12 mm box wrench, and remove the control lever.
• Remove the 8 x 35 mm flange bolt with the

5) Remove the control lever from the remote control
box.
Take care not to damage the power trim/tilt switch
wire harness.
6) Remove the two screws and neutral lock block
from the control housing A.
