Start-Up

Personnel:
CAUTION!
– Start-up and shut-down operations may be performed only by authorized
trained personnel. We strongly recommend using the services of
Ecolab Engineering GmbH.
– Be sure to disconnect the equipment from the power supply, verify that
equipment is de-energized and make sure it cannot be turned back on
before any work on electrical components.
– Before start-up operations, check that all system components are firmly
seated / installed.
– After adjusting an open device, it must be closed properly!
– A complete acceptance testing protocol must be conducted during start-up
operations!
– Check that all connections are correctly carried out.
– Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage specified
on the name plate.

Start-up Operations

Familiarize yourself with the machine's operation before switching it on. For this purpose,
see especially
1. Connect the water supply.
2. Open the control cabinet and switch on the main fuse (
on page 22, Fig. 2, Pos. 1).
3. Close the control cabinet and switch the main switch to the "ON" position (
4.1 'Construction' on page 22, Fig. 1, Pos. 3).
The system will start up, which takes about 1 min.
After a successful system start, the "main menu" appears (
6.2.1 'Displays – Start-up / Main menu' on page 28, Fig. 6) on the control
cabinet display (
