Reset

The reset function can be used to rectify possible sporadic malfunctions of the Multronic
through restarting the Multronic or resetting measuring modules to their initial state.
The key combination ←, ↑, ↓ and ENTER in the measuring mask must be operated for 5
seconds in order access the reset menu. The following options are then displayed:

Reset option menu

The standard data is then adopted by the module and saved.
9.2.2

Adoption of standard values for measuring module X

The Multronic logo appears after a short period and operating can commence again.
9.3

Multiple pH measurement (not available at Multronic OC!):

It is advisable to use self-monitoring controls for sensitive processes with measured pH value
control. This process entails comparison of up to three-measured pH values, followed by
secure control.
For self-monitoring measured pH value control several pH measuring modules must be placed
in the Multronic (starting with module plug-in connection 1). The control is always carried out
via switch relay No 2 and No 3 (controller 1), which is why the measuring module on plug-in
connection 1 for the multiple pH measurement must be a measuring and controller module.
If a multiple pH measurement has been activated, the module which supplies the measured
values for the control is marked with a star (*) in the measuring mask. The choice of module
that is used for the control depends on the mutual conductance of the connected measuring
probe. The settings for the multiple pH measurement are made in the system configuration.

The Multronic restarts once the saving
process is completed.
In order to trigger only one restart of the
Multronic while operating (warm start) the
menu item system in the reset options must
be operated.
