Make a test cut when accuracy work is required and adjust
the grade again as the case may be.
Inner Cuts
The motor must be switched off.
Carrying out inner cuts
1. Remove the saw blade as described under Saw blade
exchange (page 18).
2. Bore a hole into the work piece to be handled (app.
Ø 6 - 7 mm).
3. Put the work piece with the bore hole over the access hole of
the saw table.
4. Guide the saw blade through the bore hole and insert it at
the top and the bottom in the saw blade mounting and clamp
it.
5. After the inner cut take out the saw blade as described under
Saw blade exchange.
Inserting coping saw blades
Coping saw blades can also be inserted in the saw with the help
of two adapters.
Before replacing the saw blade remove the
plug from the mains.
Do not use any cracked saw blades or those that have
changed their shape
Only use well-sharpened saw blades
Inserting coping saw blades, page 4 (fig. G, H, I)
1. Take out the saw blade as described under saw blade
exchange (page 18).
2. Take out the table insert (17) (fig. I).
3. Screw the saw blade in the adapters with the help of the
socket wrench delivered with (21).
4. Then, plug in the adapters in the saw blade mounting at the
top and the bottom (9 and 10, see fig. H, I).
Insert the table insert as shown in fig. I, Position C.

Working instructions

Before commencing work, ensure the following:
Saw blade protection and saw blade o. k.?
Saw blade sharp?
Workplace tidied?
You may not start to operate the machine until you have
read these operating instructions, observed all the
instructions given and installed the machine as described!
Also, note the following important points:
Place yourself outside of the area of danger
Take down the saw blade protection
- in case of breaks or when leaving the saw on the saw table
- when working on the workpiece
Place your hands flat on the workpiece with fingers closed.
With it, lead the work piece with the hand only up to the
leading edge of the saw blade protection.
Never remove loose splinters, chips, or similar by hand.
Ensure that you always comply with the safety
instructions given on p. 16 ff.

Maintenance and Care

Remove the plug from the power socket
before starting any maintenance or
cleaning work.
For maintaining and cleaning, removed security devices must
unconditionally be mounted properly and proved again.
Use only original parts. Other parts can result in unexpected
damages and injuries.
Observe the following to maintain the functionality of the
saw.
Remove the sawdust from the inside of the saw. Therefore,
screw off the side covering (6) and exhaust or brush off the
sawdust.
Clean or exhaust respectively the cooling openings of the
motor after each operation.
Clean and oil all moving parts regularly.
Never use any grease!
Use for instance sewing machine oil, liquid hydraulic fluid
or environmentally acceptable spray oil.
Ensure that the saw blade remains free of rust and resin
Remove all resin residues from the saw bench top
The saw blade is a wearing part and becomes blunt after
long or frequent use
renew then the saw blade

Transport

Remove the mains plug before each
transport.
Transport the saw only with hinged down protection cover.
This will avoid possible injury from the saw blade.
