Do not remove splinters, chips and waste from the
hazardous area of the saw blade by hand.
Push the work piece always hard to the work top. But avoid
cramped hand guidance since slipping off of the hand would
directly lead into the saw blade.
When cutting smaller work pieces use suitable auxiliary
means to prevent injuries.
When cutting logs, use a special device, which secures
the workpiece on both sides of the saw blade against
turning.
Switch the machine off and remove the mains plug from
the socket when
− carrying out repair works
− carrying out servicing and repair works, removal of faults
(this also includes removing clamped splinters)
− Transporting the saw
− Changing the saw blade
− leaving the saw unattended (even during short
interruptions)
Look after your saw with care:
− Keep the tools sharp and clean to be able to work better
and more safely.
− Follow the servicing instructions and the information
about changing tools.
− Keep handles dry and free of oils and grease.
Check the machine for possible damage:
− Before continuing to use the machine, the protective
devices must be inspected to ensure that they work
perfectly and with their intended function
− Check whether the movable parts function perfectly and
do not stick or whether the parts are damaged, All parts
must be correctly installed and fulfil all conditions to
ensure perfect operation of the saw
− Damaged guards and parts must be properly repaired or
exchanged by a recognized, specialist workshop; insofar
as nothing else is stated in the instructions for use.
− Damaged or illegible safety warning labels should be
replaced immediately.
Do not allow any tool key to be plugged in!
Store the unused machine in a dry locked place away from
the reach of children.

Electrical safety

Execution of the connecting line with a cross section of at
least 1 mm² .
Protect yourself against an electric shock. Avoid touching
earthed parts with your body.
Do not use the cable for purposes for which it is not meant.
Protect the cable against heat, oil and sharp edges. Do
not use the cable to pull the plug from the socket.
Regularly check the saw cable and if damaged, have it
renewed by a recognised skilled electrician.
When taking the connecting line take care that it does not
disturb, is not squeezed, bended and the connection
assembly does not get wet.
Regularly check the extension cables and replace them if
they are damaged.
Do not use any defective connection cables.
When working outdoors, only use extension cables
especially approved and appropriately labelled for outdoor
use.
Do not set up any provisional electrical connections.
Never bypass protective devices or deactivate them.
Only hook up the machine by means of a fault-current circuit
breaker (30 mA).
The electrical connection or repairs to electrical parts of
the machine must be carried out by a certified electrician or
one of our customer service points. Local regulations –
especially regarding protective measures – must be
observed.
Repairs to other parts of the machine must be carried out
by the manufacturer or one of his customer service points.
Use only original spare parts, accessories and special
accessory parts. Accidents can arise for the user through
the use of other spare parts. The manufacturer is not
liable for any damage or injury resulting from such action.

Preparing for commissioning

To achieve perfect function of the machine, follow the
notes given in these instructions
You have to attach the following parts:
Sawdust blow-off device, page 3 (fig. C, D)
Saw blade protection, page 3 (fig. D,E)
Assembly of the sawdust blow-off device
1. Put the mounting (11) into the guidance (fig. C)
2. Put the blow-off tube (13) on the connecting piece (15).
3. Insert the blow-off nozzle (14) down into the mounting (11)
and put on the extraction tube.
4. With the clamping screw (12) the mounting (11) can be
fixed in different heights (fig. D).
5. By the screw (18) the blow-off nozzle (14) is adjusted
variably to blow off the sawdust from the cutting gap when
sawing.
Assembly of the saw blade protection on the
sawdust blow-off device
1. Push the saw blade protection (7) on the mounting (11)
(fig. D).
2. Push screw (19) through the borehole of the mounting and
the saw blade protection and lock with the screw nut (20)
(fig. E).
Assembly of the saw on a work bench
There are contained four rubber feet in the scope of delivery.
They are affixed down on the saw. Therefore, put the rubber feet
into the intended boreholes. Like this, the saw can be
assembled without additional safety.
But it can also be assembled fixed on a workbench to prevent
vibrations and noise when sawing. The small parts required for
