Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Do not keep any food in the pressure cooker for a prolonged period of time.
■
Replace the sealing ring if it displays any signs of damage. If it is used frequently, it
should be replaced at least every 1-2 years. Only use spare parts which are recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
■
Do not place the pressure lid on the pressure cooker before storing it away. This will
preserve the sealing ring for longer!
■
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning sponges to clean
the device. These can damage the surface.
•
Clean the cooker pot (6) and the steam lid (10) after every use!
•
Check the safety devices before and after each use!
•
Store all parts out of the reach of children and animals in a dry, clean place!
Cooker Pot
•
Clean the cooker pot (6) with warm water and mild detergent or in the dishwasher.
•
Dry the cooker pot thoroughly before storing it away.
Pressure Lid
•
Pull the sealing ring (8) out of the pressure lid (10).
•
Clean the pressure lid and the sealing ring with warm water and mild detergent.
•
Only reinsert the sealing ring once the pressure lid and the sealing ring have dried
completely.
•
The safety devices (pressure control valve (1), safety valve (2), safety release valve
(9) and sealing ring) should always be clean and free of residues of any kind. If the
safety valve or pressure control valve should be blocked, remove any possible resi-
dues with a toothpick.
Pressure Control Valve
If required, the pressure control valve (1) can be removed to clean it:
1. Turn the pressure control valve to the Ø position.
2. Pull up the pressure control valve and clean it with warm water and mild detergent.
3. Dry it thoroughly and insert it back into the pressure lid (10).
Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner and
take it to a recycling centre. Dispose of the article in an environmentally friendly
manner as well. More information is available from your local authorities.
