1. Place the device on a dry and heat-resistant, fl at surface a suffi cient distance away
from fl ammable objects. Leave suffi cient clearance around the device.
2. Insert the device plug (6) into the connecting socket for the device plug (5) so that the
temperature control knob (7) is facing upwards.
3. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed 220 – 240 volt plug socket.
4. Move the temperature control knob (7) to the setting you want (1 – 5). The device
switches on and begins to heat. The temperature control lamp (8) lights up. It goes
out as soon as the temperature level which is set is reached. The temperature setting
can be adjusted at any time.
The temperature control lamp (8) goes out and lights up on a regular basis. This
indicates that the device stops the heating process at regular intervals and then
heats again to maintain a constant temperature.
5. Place the food you want into the wok pan (3) and cook.
6. Once the cooking process is complete, move the temperature control knob (7) to the
0 position, pull out the mains plug and allow the device to cool down completely.

Cleaning and Storage

CAUTION!
■ Always allow the device to cool completely before cleaning it and storing it away.
■ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the
device. These can damage the surface. Do not use any metal objects for cleaning.
1. Pull the device plug (6) out of the connecting socket for the device plug (5).
2. Clean the device with a mild detergent and warm water.
Do not immerse the device in water during the cleaning process. If water gets
into the connecting socket for the device plug (5), the device can no longer be
used safely.
3. If necessary, wipe down the mains cable and the device plug (6) with a slightly damp
cloth.
4. Allow all parts to dry completely before they are stored away.
5. Store the device and the accessories in a dry place that is protected from sunlight and
is not accessible to children and animals.
