Troubleshooting

PLEASE NOTE!
Do not use the pressure cooker if it is damaged. Do not attempt to repair a defec-
tive device yourself! In the event of damage, contact an authorised specialist or the
customer service department.
If a problem should arise, always stop the cooking process and depressurise the
pressure cooker (see the "Use" chapter, "Pressure Reduction" section) before further
measures are taken!
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself.

Reduce the pressure in the
pressure cooker (see the "Use"
chapter, "Pressure Reduction"
section).
Make sure that the sealing ring fi ts
the cooker lid. Only sealing rings
of the correct type may be used.
Replace the sealing ring. Never
open the pressure lid forcibly to
prevent damage / deformation to
the sealing ring.
Clean the sealing ring and make
sure that the sealing ring is cor-
rectly seated in place when you
reinsert it.
Place the pressure lid on again
(see the "Opening / Closing the
Pressure Lid" chapter).
Clean both valves (see the "Clean-
ing and Storage" chapter).
