Disposing of batteries

– Batteries do not belong in domestic garbage! Please use an existing return
system to return used batteries.
– Please return only discharged batteries. Batteries are usually discharged
when the device that they operate no longer works perfectly after the
batteries have been used for a prolonged period.
– The battery pole should be covered with a small strip of adhesive tape to
protect against short circuits.
– Germany: As a consumer, you are legally required to return used batteries.
You can return your old batteries wherever you can buy them. You can also
return them to the public collection points in your town or municipality.

Pb = Battery contains lead
Cd = Battery contains cadmium
Hg = Battery contains mercury
Li = Battery contains lithium
