ADJUSTING THE CENTRAL BROOM AND THE SIDE BROOM:
CENTRAL BROOM:
If you notice that the machine no longer cleans perfectly or leaves dirt behind, you will need to adjust the central broom. To adjust its
height, unscrew the ring nut Detail 4 Fig. 15, adjust the knob Detail 3 Fig. 15 until reaching the desired height and tighten the ring nut Detail
4 Fig. 15 to fasten the knob.
N.B.:
To make sure that the central broom is adjusted properly, measure its "track" as follows:
 Once the adjustments have been made, start the machine and, without travelling forwards or in reverse, leave it on the spot for at least
10/15 sec. with the central broom lowered.
 Turn the engine off, raise the central broom and make the machine move forwards, until you can see a track left by the rotation of the
central broom on the floor, as shown in Fig. 16.

SIDE BROOM:

To adjust the height of the side broom, unscrew the ring nut Detail 1 Fig. 15, adjust the knob Detail 2 Fig. 15 until reaching the desired
height and tighten the ring nut Detail 1 Fig. 15 to fasten the knob.

DEBRIS HOPPER
Every 50/60 hours of operation or when necessary, wash the hopper with hot water and possibly with common detergent to prevent any
bacterial growth (use rubber gloves).
ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE SIDE DUST GASKETS:
This operation must be carried out using gloves, mask to protect the airways, 10-13mm spanners, with the engine switched off.
> Dismantle the left hand side guard Detail 1 Fig. 17 undoing the relevant screws.
> Loosen the screws of the gasket (left or right) fastening plate Detail 3 Fig. 17
> Move the gasket downwards until it is 2mm from the ground.
> Tighten the screws of the gasket fastening plate Detail 3 Fig. 17
REPLACING THE CENTRAL BROOM:
This operation must be carried out using gloves, mask to protect the airways, 10-13mm spanners, with the engine switched off.
> Dismantle the left hand side guard Detail 1 Fig. 17 undoing the relevant screws.
> Dismantle the left arm of the fly press Detail 4 Fig. 17 undoing the relevant screw.
> Tighten the external screws of the gasket fastening plate Detail 3 Fig. 17
> Remove the screws of the broom door Detail 5 Fig. 17
> Remount the broom door Detail 5 Fig. 17
> Remount the broom Detail 6 Fig. 17
> To complete assembly, repeat the operations in the reverse order.
> Adjust the height of the new broom (see paragraph "Adjusting the central broom").
REPLACING THE SIDE BROOM:
This operation must be carried out using gloves, mask to protect the airways, with the engine switched off and cold.
Lift the side broom
Unscrew the ring nut Detail 1 Fig. 18 to detach the side broom Detail 2 Fig. 18 from the plastic flange
Replace the worn broom with the new one, fitting it on the flange and tightening the ring nut to lock it in place, adjusting its height
THIS OPERATION MUST BE CARRIED OUT WITH THE ENGINE SWITCHED OFF.
