Once the external packaging has been removed, take the machine off of its pallet; this operation can be carried out in two ways:
1) Use a hook with 3 straps of suitable capacity for the weight of the machine (indicated on the CE plate). Lift the engine hood until the gas
spring stops and undo the screw that acts as an end run (to free the machine from the encumbrance of the gas spring). Screw the eye-
bolt all the way into the threaded hole on the platform (Detail 2 Fig. 2). Attach all of the prongs to the lifting hooks (all three) marked as
A in Fig. 2 (with the cable that is attached to eye-bolt 2 that is 40 cm longer compared to the other two cables) and using a forklift or
bridge crane (of suitable capacity for the weight of the machine), lift it from the pallet and rest it on the ground very slowly. Then
refasten the screw of the gas spring to the frame.

THE MACHINE CAN ONLY BE LIFTED WHEN ALL THREE STRAPS ARE ATTACHED TO THE RESPECTIVE LIFTING HOOKS.

2) If necessary, in order not to lift the machine, put a sloping platform (of suitable capacity for the weight of the machine plus the operator
on board) against the narrow side of the pallet, at least 1.5 m long in order not to damage the rubber dust gaskets. Remove the wooden
wedges from around the wheels, get into the driver's seat and disengage the parking brake Detail 3 Fig. 2, pressing it to release the
brake lever Detail 4 Fig. 2. With the help of one or several people, push the machine onto the slide (procedure to be carried out without
people in front of the machine and on a wide flat surface). Once the machine has been unpacked, dismantle and keep the lifting eye-
bolt to one side; mount the right hand side broom and if necessary the left hand side broom as well ( as illustrated on Page 22 )
IMPORTANT: All waste material from the unpacking operations must be disposed of by the user, in accordance with the specific
standards for disposal currently in force.

MAKE SURE THAT THE GUARDS ARE FULLY INTACT AND SECURELY INSTALLED; IN THE EVENT OF FAULTS OR MISSING
PARTS DO NOT COMMISSION THE MACHINE AND CONTACT THE DEALER OR THE PARENT COMPANY
IMMEDIATELY.
