EMERGENCY STOP:
In the event of an emergency remove your foot from the forward pedal Detail 2 Fig. 7.
Using the same foot, press the brake pedal Detail 3 Fig. 7.
Turn the ignition key OFF Detail 10 Fig. 8.
MACHINE OPERATING CONDITIONS:
The machine is in the work position in the following conditions:
Central broom lowered; lever Detail 1 Fig. 9
Side broom/s lowered as required, adjusting the rotation speed with the lever Detail 15 Fig 8
Suction engaged, by pressing the switch Detail 10 Fig. 8 ON.
CHAPTER 12 - CORRECT USE AND TIPS
IMPORTANT: Before starting operation, check for cords, plastic or metal wires or long rags, sticks, power cords etc on the surface; these
are dangerous and could damage the dust washers and brooms. It is therefore necessary to remove them before operating the machine.
Suction is crucial in order not to lift the surrounding dust during work. It must be engaged at all times, except in the following two cases:
1 -
PRESENCE OF WATER ON THE SURFACE TO BE CLEANED
2 -
WHILE SHAKING THE FILTERS WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING.
In these cases disable suction by turning the switch OFF Detail 10 Fig. 8.
Be very careful when driving over rails, or door guides etc. as they are the greatest source of damage to the dust gaskets; when driving
over them, go very slowly.
The side broom must only be used to clean edges, profiles, corners, etc. It must be raised (disabled) immediately after use to avoid
lifting unnecessary dust, and also because the cleaning results achieved with the side broom is never as good as the results achieved
with the central broom.
In the event of bulky or light objects to be collected, lift the front flap by pressing the flap-lift pedal using your LH heel Detail 4 Fig. 7.
EMPTYING THE DEBRIS HOPPER:
Procedure to be carried out with the engine running at an average revolution speed.
Lift the central broom as illustrated in Fig. 9.
Gradually lift the debris hopper holding the lever Detail 1 Fig. 10 backwards, pressing and holding the button Detail 11 Fig. 8.
Empty the hopper by moving the lever Detail 2 Fig. 10, which controls the hatch opening, backwards.
When the hopper has been emptied, close the rear hatch by releasing the lever Detail 2 Fig. 10 and lower the hopper by moving the
lever Detail 1 Fig. 10 forwards, pressing the hopper lifting safety buttons at the same time.
 If the surface to be cleaned is very dirty in terms of amount or type of material to be collected, it is advisable to carry out an initial
"rough" cleaning procedure, without taking into account the final result, then, with the hopper emptied out and the filters well-shaken,
clean the surface again; accordingly, you will obtain the required result.
 Following this procedure, by using the machine properly and suitably, it will no longer be necessary to carry out the "rough" cleaning
procedure.
 For good results, empty out the hopper often and keep the filters clean by shaking them with relative tools.
