CHAPTER 2 - PURPOSES / INTENTIONS
„columbus" is pleased to make you the new owner of a AKS 88|VDM 180 series sweeper.
By observing the instructions provided below, we are certain you will be able to fully appreciate the operating possibilities offered by AKS
88|VDM 180.
This operating manual is supplied to instruct and define the purposes and intentions that the machine was designed for and its safe use, as
clearly as possible. You will also find a list of all of those minor operations required to keep the machine in good running order and safe.
Procedures that can easily be carried out by anyone.
Always seek the assistance of specialised staff for unscheduled maintenance.
You will find information on hazards and residual risks, i.e. all of those risks that cannot be eliminated, plus adequate information on
permitted and forbidden uses; instructions on how to commission the machine; technical instructions and permitted performance;
instructions on how to operate the machine and its maintenance; instructions on how to decommission the machine and dismantle or
demolish it.
