Insert loose, unstripped wire ends (1) to
the stop in the wire connector (2). Press
the wire connector together using suitable
pliers – ensure correct engagement.
Attach the perimeter wire strain relief to the
ground with two fixing pins as illustrated.

12.17 Narrow edge clearances

It is possible to reduce the wire clearance
to a high obstacle to 27 cm on a straight
section (not at corners). This will result in a

larger mown area.
Sufficient clearance (at least 5 cm)
between the robotic mower and obstacles
must be ensured for edge following
( 9.13), ( 11.14). If necessary,
increase the wire clearance to the
obstacles.

always be noted in the garden
sketch. ( 12.2)

corner:
Route the perimeter wire (1) as illustrated
at the internal corner. Use the
iMow Ruler (2).
Narrow edge clearances at the external
corner:
Route the perimeter wire (1) as illustrated
at the external corner. Use the
iMow Ruler (2).

13. Docking station

13.1 Docking station controls

A circular red LED (1) provides information
on the status of the docking station and the
wire signal.
